What we collect
California First Carpet Cleaning is a cleaning service, not a data business. The information we hold about you is the information it takes to quote a job, book it and do it.
- Through the quote form: your name, your phone number, your email address if you choose to give it, the service you are asking about and whatever you write in the message box, such as the number of rooms, stairs, pets or access details.
- When you call or email: the same kinds of details, plus the address where the work will be done, since the crew has to find the floor.
- During and after the job: notes about the rooms, the fibers, the treatments used and the quote, so that a repeat visit or a guarantee call starts from what we already know.
We do not ask for payment details through this website. Anything you choose to send us that we did not ask for, for example a photo of a stain, is treated the same way as the rest.
How we use it
We use what you give us to answer you, to quote the job, to schedule the crew, to carry out the cleaning and to honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee afterwards. If you have booked with us before, we may use your earlier details to make a second booking quicker. We contact you about your own job and, if you have booked before, we may get in touch about your own future cleaning.
Who we share it with
Two parties see what you send through the form. The first is us. The second is the platform that hosts this website and delivers each form submission to us, which processes the form on our behalf so that your message reaches the people who schedule. That platform handles the submission for the purpose of delivering it, not for its own marketing.
Beyond that, nobody. We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it or pass it to other businesses for marketing. The only other circumstance in which we would disclose your details is where the law requires it, and then only what is required.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as it takes to quote, schedule and complete the job, to answer any follow-up and to honor the guarantee on the work, and afterwards for as long as our own business records reasonably need them. A form submission that never turns into a booking is not kept any longer than it is useful. If you would like your details removed sooner, ask, and we remove what we are not required to keep.
Your choices
- You can ask what information we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete your details, subject to any records we have to keep.
- You can ask us not to contact you again, and we will stop.
- You never have to use the form. Everything it does, a phone call does too. Call (844) 966-2005 instead whenever you prefer.
The email and phone number in the form are used to reach you about your job. If you give us an email, you can withdraw it at any time by telling us.
